About Bobi

What makes me most excited about being able to instruct different techniques to an open and willing person who wants to see the or their vision is priceless. A motto I have picked up is it is all about your "art attitude". I have adopted this into my unique approach.

Meeting each artist has become an adventure. Really the artist is the student. What do they want to accomplish or need a boost at learning and practicing? Each artist will adapt to their own approach to projects, and this is the help I love bring to each instruction.

When attending College of Staten Island University, I had the pleasure of completing Art as my minor. Coming from an artist background, and the love of colors, I had the pleasure of opening my own home to children through mom groups which lead to a job in Huntington Beach School District as a traveling Art teacher for independent contractor Art Explorers. I spent three years teaching every child in one school in a matter of a week. (so much fun) We also offered Family Paint Night. Now, I continue to have small groups at my home and also do traveling paint parties or children to adults, I bring all the materials and fun and the host provide the rest. I enjoy the process of busy hands.

About the lesson

My approach is with a smile. As I believe that first meetings are the most important. Getting to know students comes with a creative process, while getting our hands dirty. Drawing during conversations to see what their goals or journey looks like? I am in for the ride. Art has so many different faces, and I have fallen in love with all of them.
