About Ashwin

I am a Graduate student in Art, Animation and digital art with over 10 years of experience. I love to teach creativity and art skills to students who want to learn fundamentals and want to improve their art practice. I am patient and willing to answer any questions or concerns you might have and open to any conversation regarding art and design.

My skills include:

Expert level knowledge of photoshop, Procreate and other digital design and painting apps.

knowledge of cartooning, basic anatomy, drawing in 3D, color theory, 3d visualization in maya and animation principles.

I have a masters from the academy of art university, San Francisco. I have worked prior in the animation industry, done digital matte paintings and user interface design.

I love the fact that I create visual worlds for a living and I want to impart the skills, techniques and mindset to other kindred spirits.

I started as a tutor in WyzAnt for 3D visualization and maya

About the lesson

First we will have a free 15 minutes exploratory session examining areas a student wants to focus on and what final project they want assistance with. This can be by phone or Skype.

Children 12-18 and Adults

1. Ensure what your leaning goals are and communicate that early on

2. Check the teachers portfolio and body of work

3. Keep practicing and learning from all credible sources

I loved going to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Attending the Armory Art show in New York. Got a pulse of latest innovations in the art and gaming industries.
