About Matt

We are passionate about art and creativity and want to provide a space were you feel welcome to explore your own inner artist with us.

We are excited about helping our local community grow; combining our love of art with our mission to provide a community space to help our community members develop, heal, and create through art.

I believe we all have the ability to create art and just need the right place and experience to find our creative side. I like encouraging and guiding others to try something new to create something they never thought possible.

I have been a hobby artist for 3 years and have 7+ years of experience with teaching different art mediums including pottery, alcohol painting and abstract acrylic painting.

I enjoy helping others and when we opened a studio, I jumped right in.

7+ years of experience and lots of research. Formal education in pottery in highschool and took a regular class for a total of 3 years.

About the lesson

Ask what the student is looking for, match them with a class or private lesson that meets their needs. Schedule first day and share what they can expect when they arrive on day one.

I have worked with a wide range of ages 8yrs - 75yrs, both male and females. As long as you have a desire to learn, i will find a way to help you.

Be open to everything that is said, because there is more than one way to do almost everything in pottery. Leanr what works for you but be open to learning new ways also, it might just make things easier someday.

I made a big vase and before even pulling it off of the wheel, one of my students said she simple must have it for her office! Very rewarding to know my art is valued.

It was a totally relaxed time, but I still feel like it was an awesome opportunity - one I can't wait to have again! Details

Private lesssons are $35/hr with a two hour minimum

4 week Intro class - Includes 1 instructed day per week and two open studio sessions during the 4 week times frame.

8 week Pottery Class - Includes 1 instructed day per week and one open studio day each week of the 8 weeks.
