About Emmett

Hello my name Emmett Graham, I am based out of Phoenix, AZ. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Painting degree from Arizona State University. I also have additional training from Scottsdale Artist's School. I am able to provide a strong skill foundation and knowledge that will enhance your skill level and creativity and for you to be able to communicate to others without words.

I have always been fascinated with creativity and artistic design. My interest in the arts is strong. The reason I enjoy what I do, is that art provides many different things to an individual, from education to therapy. Art is able to express feelings and provide communication without words. Art allows for an Idea, a story, or a time period in history to be told and expressed, to bring forth an exchange of ideas or a conversation with someone you have just met. All of this is why I enjoy the work I do.

When Emmett Graham's time in Marine Corps was over, he found his passion for art and creativity once again. He uses his time in the military, his travels around the world and experiences as a huge part of his thought process and creativity for his art pieces. His experiences have taught him that learning is a life long process and we must be students at all times. He continues to hone his craft and is honored to bring forth strong images - and his creativity onto the canvas.

I got started teaching individuals from my Time in The Marine Corps. part of my duties included teaching and training individuals. I enjoyed watching individuals grow and reach their full potential.

The Training and education I have is, I have a Bachelors Degree in Painting and have attended Atelier classes. I also was an instructor in the Marine Corps.

About the lesson

I ask them what it is that they want to to learn, what are they interested in, what their skill level is and how much do they know about art and use of materials. Basically finding out how comfortable they are with art and how much they know.

I have worked with kids completing simple projects. I have worked with beginners teaching them the basic fundsmentals of drawing and painting. I have worked with novice individuals to enhance their skill and knowledge on their style and other techniques they wanted to learn.

The advice I would give is to be realistic about what it is you want to learn, how many classes you want to take and are you looking to do art as hobby or is it something you seriously want to get involved in.

I have been magazines, part of artist critiques, and in the news. I have been part of differnt art collective exhibits, The 9 Gallery Master's Collection and The Mood Room Gallery Phoenix Art Now III, I have alsohad my own Art exhibit with The 9 Gallery titled Connected Through Time. I am also working with Fine Arts Complex 1101 and I am still creating and painting new works of art.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The questions they should think through is, how serious are they about art. Is what they want to do in art a hobby or is it something they want to be seriously involved in. They need to be realistic in what they want to learn, what is their skill level and far do they want to go.

Details

The standard pricing is for one to two people it is $20 dollars per person for one hour, $35 a person for two hours and $50 dollars a person for three hours. For three to ten people it is $10 dollars a person for one hour, $25 dollars a person for two hours and $40 a person for three hours. Materials are not included.
