I like to determine their experience level, what kind of imagery appeals to them. We usually begin with basic drawing, composition, discussing subject matter, I provide my own reference materials or help my students work from their own ideas, photos, drawings. My goal throughout the relationship is to enable and inspire my fellow artists to be able to grow and expand their abilities, to make creating art fun and rewarding.
