About Darcy
I am a professional painter and illustrator. I have been painting professionally for 5 years and have been teaching adults for a year now. I worked as a preschool art teacher where I gained a great respect and understanding for how practicing art shapes our minds and outlooks. A blank page can seem very daunting. I want to show my students how to find their art by looking through the blank page and not being afraid to make mistakes.
I am a self -taught artist and the confidence to call myself an artist took a long time, passed awards and sales. It is important to me to teach my students technical skills but also confidence in themselves and their work.
