About Tim

I love to capture both the figure and landscapes. I love the natural beauty found in both of these. I try to capture a fair likeness while also leaving room for some artistic interpretation that really brings a piece to life. I learned about my passion while at college. I studied and majored in art at BYU-I.

I was approached by someone who saw my work and asked if I could help them. I was suprised how much I was able to help them, and decided to offer classes as an artist to anyone who was interested.

About the lesson

I like to get to know where my student is at their current skills. Then I like to talk about where they want to go. I learn about the artists they aspire to be like, and make a plan to help them get from where they are to where they want to be.

I've worked with children as young as 7 to adults

I would mostly look to see if the teacher knows about art by looking at their work. If it's not the style you want to get, that's ok, the fundamentals of art are what is important. And make sure they have recent work. Art is a skill that is lost if not used.

I recently moved to Fayettvile and am loving everthing it has to offer.
