About Lillian
My name is Lillian Martin! I am an Honors College Student at Grand Canyon University. As a current student who has gotten all A's and A+'s in my english courses, as well as taken college level courses, I know exactly what teachers and college professors are looking for and how to quickly improve to meet their standards. I have been teaching as a Taekwon-do Instructor and camp counselor in High School and have experience with ages all the way from 3 years old to high school.
I have tutored many of my classmates as well as underclassman in high school. Most of my teaching experience comes from teaching Taekwon-do for multiple years and tutoring students in an afterschool program.

I can work easily to where current middle and high schoolers work best--- their phones. I am accessable easily via text, call, facetime and zoom.
I will start by reading two - three recent essays by the students and their parents and teaching feedback, and will create a set of goals and a timeline of progress based on the students future assignments.
I would advise that they seek out someone familiar with the current standards used in middle and high schools as well as the technology in most current classrooms. In the past couple of years, schools have transitioned into mainly using online resources, and some tutors may not be comfortable using them.

Details
As I am a younger, newer tutor I will charge only $40 for each hour long session, but should the student work hard, I do not anticipate needing very many sessions to catch them up to their teachers standards.
