About Lydia

I am a passionate visual artist that has been working in the visual arts my entire career. I can teach a variety of skills including drawing, painting, jewelry making, and photoshop. I have been painting at the Guthrie Theater for 7 years. I have worked freelance as a theatrical theater designer in the Twin Cities for 4 years. I love collaborating with other artists and helping people reach their full potential. Every student is different, I enjoy tailoring my lessons to the students.

I began teaching in college. I was a teaching assistant with my favorite design professor. I was so inspired that I continued teaching.

I have a Masters of Fine Arts in Theater Design from the University of Maryland. I have been working in the arts for over 10 years.

About the lesson

I like to talk with them about there goals and then I create a specialized plan to help them meet those goals.

I have worked with students of all ages: Young, old and everywhere in between! I have taught paint and sip classes where I have painted with a variety of students at all different skill levels.

Look for someone who is flexible and ready to meet your needs. Have clear goals and discuss them with your teacher.
