About Trinity
I started teaching when I worked at an art supply store in Napa. Customers would ask me questions about various art supplies and that would often turn into on the spot, impromptu art lessons. I couldn't help it, once I get started talking about art and techniques, it just pours out of me... Customers would start coming in almost daily to learn more from me until they finally asked me to do private lessons. I was reluctant at first, but agreed. I quickly discovered how much I loved it and the spark students get in their eyes as concepts start to click for them.
I received my BFA in Fine Arts Painting and Drawing from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
I have worked as a professsional artist for the past 11 years using mediums such as charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, and Oil paint. I have received awards and publications for my work. Not only have I created many works on canvas, but I have also work on numerous large scale mural projects both independently and for a high end interior design firm.
I have had success in teaching private art lessons to students as well as larger art classes for organizations like the Siskiyou County Arts Council.

We will start with an assessment process so I can see what skill level the student is at. This includes looking at previous work as well as completing a few drawing assignments.
Not only does this give us something to look back on to measure tangible growth after a series of classes, but it also ensures each student receives a personalized lesson plan unique to them.
I have worked with students of all ages. Adults, Teenagers, and young children.
I cater my lessons to the skill sets and motor capabilities of each student.

Private Lessons are $45/hour.
