About Julie

I am a freelance professional artist who specializes in acrylic painting and murals, portraiture, chalk/conte, and wood engraving/pyrography.

I absolutely enjoy the finished product! Being able to create something for my clients that brings joy and appreciation is priceless. I feel as though a unique, custom piece of art is a very heartfelt gift, whether it be for the individual or someone else.

I have a bachelors in Graphic Design, Minor in Art History. I have been creating murals and portraits since 1993, and began wood engraving in 2003.

About the lesson

It's important to get to know each other and find out the what the students goals may be. Ultimately, art is very unique the creator. Sharing knowledge and experience is the fun part of seeing the students style emerge.
