About Luíza
In Artistic Tactics | Creative Thinking I offer personalized or group support for anyone who desires to learn in-depth tactics and tools to start making or to improve their artistic works. I offer advisory for practicing artists who are interested in sharing their practice and research, as well as classes for beginners, of all ages! Classes spam from conceptual exercises to classes in drawing, tutorials in various software, and more! Please reach out for more information.
I am an interdisciplinary artist from Itabirito, Brazil and I hold a professional degree in Architecture and Urban Planning, and a Master's degree in Art, Culture, and Technology, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technolgy (MIT). As a teaching assistant, I have worked in various art classes, at graduate and undergraduate level, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; I currently also teach at 2 different extracurricular programs that MIT offers to high school and middle school students. I have recently been a Fiakow Fellow, at the Transmedia Storytelling distanced Residency at MIT.
In the work I do, I most enjoy the experience of exchange in the process of learning, as well as the freedom allowed by discovering and reinventing what art can be.
