About Michela

I am a fine artist and designer with a batchelor's degree in Industrial Design as well as 13 years of experience in creating and telling stories through the use of drawing and painting. With me as your teacher,your knowledge of the basics, your control of lines, your ability to draw in different perspectives, to observe color, to draw what you see before you, will reach a new level.

I enjoy the process of helping someone who has doubts about their artist abilities realize that they can in fact draw. They can in fact create if they are willing to take the time.

I began as an art teacher at the Anthony Bowen YMCA in D.C.

I have a Bachelors in Industrial Design from the Savannah College and art and Design. This degree has provided me with not just an extensive knowledge of design, but an expert level understanding of drawing, and the drawing process.

in regards to fine art, I have been painting for over 13 years with my work being exhibited in the Mainstreet Arts Festival in New York as well as being featured in gallery of the U.S Capitol building. I have been selected for painting collaborations with BET Network as well as Initiatives who use art to spread messages of inclusivity and participation through their communities.

About the lesson

I begin by introducing myself as well as allowing the student the opportunity to introduce themselves and give me insight into which drawing/art skills they wish to strengthen in addition to the drawing skills that they may already possess.

I will then work with them, using examples, tutorials, assignments and exercises so that they can enhance their skills.
