About Emily
I am all about making art fun, rewarding, and accessible for students! I have four years of art teaching experience in a school setting (public and private) as well as private lessons! Whether your child is interested in creating for the first time, wants to broaden their skills, or is looking to build a portfolio, I am here to help guide each student down their path to becoming an artist!
I began teaching straight out of college and have enjoyed it ever since!
I am a certified art teacher with experience in school and tutoring settings. I work with students from age 4-18.

When working with a new student, it's important to discuss their goals and interests I can tailor my lessons so the student is getting the exact art experience they want! We explore different materials, techniques, and process to discover what focus our projects should have.
I have experience with all types of students. I have experience in large school settings, small group, and individual tutoring. I work often with special needs students.
A group of my eighth grade students just designed and created a large scale mural as a graduation project before heading off to high school. Their idea was ambitious and the final product turned out amazing!
