About Skip

I started creating art when I was 4 years old and have enjoyed a lifelong passion ever since. I have an 8 part teaching protocol for establishing the fundamental elements that can be applied to every level, style andmedium .... ranging from realism and portraiture to abstraction and expressionism! I strive to make each learning experience fun and challenging while expanding the student's creative boundaries!

I maintain a studio in my home and spend many an evening listening to music and painting well into the early "morn"! I am represented by one of the premier gallerys in Metro Atlanta and enjoy exhibiting my work in shows and gallery events. I have also served as a board member of the "Cherokee County Arts Council" and also have assisted in curating and judging various shows! I

About the lesson

First establishing what "level of expertise" the student is currently working at and developing a protocal based around their abilities and goals, while keeping it fun and "creativity" driven.
