About Jauhara

Hi! My name is Jauhara. I have a passion for art that I love to teach and share. If you are interested in improving your art or learning a new medium (digital art in procreate, animation, painting, clay) then I would love to tutor you. I have an open schedule and would recommend class 1-2x a week. If you are interested in building up for protfolio to submit to art school I can also help in that aspect. I studied overseas in art school (Parsons New School of Design and IED barcelona) and know what schools look out for to give your application an edge.

What I enjoy most about my work is getting to open a students mind to the possibilities that art offers and break them out of their shell to try new things and explore. I believe art allows you to view the world in an alternative lens which which is useful for many aspects of life.

Since coming back from my studies abroad I have had 2 years of experience with online tutoring as well as an extensive background I'm Art of all mediums (traditional drawing, digital drawing, painting, 3d clay sculpture)

About the lesson

When working with a new student I love to have a warm up meeting where I can introduce myself and chat with the student to get a sense of their personality, show my own, and see where there interests lie. From there I make a personalized study plan for each week and transfer that to a shareable calandra with the student (and parents). Once lessons begin, the first 5 minutes are used to overview what we will work on that day.
