About Kelsy
I manage an art collective here in Albuquerque New Mexico. I have a fine arts background and there are many people in the group who have expirience in other arts. We sell at events, and do gallery shows and show artist how to sell thier work, become better artist and focus on collaberative work.
I started tutoring when i was taking art classes at cnm. Many of my fellow students were struggling and i started hosting art nights to help people develop their skills.
I have tutored life drawing and illustration. I have taught painting classes. I have been a professional artist for over 10 years. I have worked in several galleries and have been a resident artist in 3 galleries and a gallery curator in 2 galleries. I manage an art collective with over 100 member and i manage events.

I like to look at the work they have already done , and i have them do a few excercises to see where they are at. I then discuss thier goals with them to see where we can begin developing those skills. I usually like to sit down with them a minimum of once a week to work with them and answer questions and assign projects to help them develop.
I have worked with children as young as 10 and with adults as old as 70
think about what direction you want to go in with your art. Is there anything in particular your are trying to do? Are you trying to sell your art or are you developing your skills for personal reasons? do you have the time to spend working on your skills? Are you open to critisism and willing to do the work needed to improove.
I Love to do First friday art walk in downtown albuquerque. I set up with my collective with at least 5 vendors and live music. we have a ton of fun, make some money. we live paint and get to be active in the community.

Details
I typically charge between 10-50 dollars for individual lessons. I also have monthly rates that include 5 or 10 classes a month. montly rates go from 40- 150 dollars depending on what classes you want to take
