About Avery

I've taught for about 4 years and its very clear every artist is very different. Some turned out to be tattoo artist, others as online cartoonist/illustrators. Some started off with stick figures, some started mediocre, but all they needed was to find there style and practice drawing real life objects/ locations. I am passionate about showing people that they can draw things that they didn't think they were capable of. I teach the way I wish I would have been taught. Art is made out to be so complicated but with the right techniques and simplified steps/ language alot more can be learned alot faster. Drawing is awesome. Look around you, everything you see can be drawn. Now imagine being able to draw that without looking or in your own way. There is no one way to Draw only your way. And I'm here to help simplify how you can get the best results out of your work. Whether it be shading, forshortenning, coloring or proportion. I can help you be happy with what you can draw. Seeing others excel in the art inspires me to keep going and sometimes a little inspiration is that one step away from greatness.

I love to see Improvement. There is nothing better than see someone figure how to do something and run with it until they are better at it than you are. The creative mind is a miraculous thing and I want to see anyone I teach surpass me in everyway.
