About Michael
Hello!
I have been teaching for 3 years. I have experience at the middle school and elementary level. I have taught high school chemistry, middle school biology and all subjects at the elementary level. I enjoy helping children accomplish their learning goals and strive when they have their "ah ha" moment after tackling a tough subject/concept. I look forward to helping your child learn!
I have a K-8 teaching license for my state.

Initially, I focus on what the student wants to be able to learn or do. Once I understand their perspective, I focus on their trouble points to see what may be prohibiting them from accomplishing their learning goal. We then continue looking at strategies that will help them overcome their trouble point and then put them on the path to succes.
