About Susan
I am a former high school science teacher and have taught human anatomy and physiology, freshmen biology, IB or college level biology, zoology over my ten year teaching career. I am almost done with my MS in biology and am transitioning to a job more actively involved in scientific research but I love teaching.
I started coaching and that led me to teaching. I am passionate about teaching and working with students.
I have taught high school science for ten years, have a BS in health and exercise science and am almost done with my MS in Biology. I've also coached at the high school level for 14 seasons

I would get to know the student, background, and what helps the student learn best.
I've worked with a range of students including those that don't enjoy school to those that have been accepted by some of the nations top colleges.
In biology, there are many different contents, finding one that has a solid background and genuinely cares about the student and is willing to adjust instruction individually.
I am proud of my performance and persist of my MS degree in biology.
