About Melanie

I started tutoring for fun during freshman year of college when I realized that study groups quickly became packed to come study with me. What began as a fun time playing teacher, ended up being my favorite thing to do. I love sharing my knowledge and find it immensely rewarding to see students interested in the topics. I provide fun, interactive learning methods that help the student advance their knowledge. I have had experience with tutoring biology, anatomy and physiology, and Russian for four years. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for Anatomy and Physiology. None of my students have ever received below an 85% on an exam.

I have a bachelors in Rehabilitation Science with a minor in Russian. I graduated at the top of my class, and have experience in education. I was a Teacher Assistant for Anatomy and Physiology, as well as a tutor for psychology, Russian, and biology for the past four years. None of my students have ever scored below an 85% on exams.

About the lesson

When I have a new student, I spend some time getting to know their learning style, making sure they feel comfortable around me, and asking them questions to make sure they are following along.
