About Olivia

I am a University of Melbourne Commerce student who graduated high school in 2023 with an ATAR of 98.7, including a perfect study score of 50 in Sociology and strong results across a range of subjects including English, Geography, Biology and Further Mathematics. I achieved these results while balancing part-time work and extracurricular commitments, which taught me the importance of studying efficiently and maintaining balance.

Since graduating, I have continued tutoring and now work as both a private tutor and a Head Tutor at Al Taqwa College. Through this experience I have worked with students across different year levels and abilities, helping them strengthen their understanding of content, improve their writing and develop the exam skills needed to perform well in SACs and exams.

I genuinely enjoy tutoring and find it rewarding to see students grow in confidence as their understanding improves. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills and working towards the results they are aiming for.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, personalised and focused on helping students make real progress in both understanding and results. I work closely with each student to identify the areas they find challenging and adapt lessons to suit their learning style and goals. For VCE students, this often includes working through exam-style questions, refining essay structure and developing strong exam technique.

I have several years of tutoring experience and currently work as both a private tutor and a Head Tutor at Al Taqwa College, where I support students across different year levels and abilities. My academic background includes an ATAR of 98.7 with a perfect study score of 50 in Sociology, alongside strong results across multiple subjects.

Lessons typically run for 60–90 minutes and are suitable for VCE students studying Sociology or Geography who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their writing and perform well in SACs and exams.
