About Farisa

I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic foundation and a genuine love for teaching. I hold a Master’s in Big Data Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (First Rank). Over the past three years, I have helped many high school students build confidence and achieve better results in Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Math. As the founder of a private tuition center, I have designed personalized learning programs that make challenging topics easy to understand. My teaching philosophy is rooted in patience, clarity, and encouragement — helping students see learning as something enjoyable and achievable. I take pride in creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is personalised for each student. I begin by understanding each student’s learning style and focus areas, then design lessons that make complex topics simple and practical. I use visual explanations, real-life examples, and quick problem-solving exercises to build strong conceptual understanding and confidence.

Each session runs for around 60 minutes, combining short revision, new concepts, and interactive practice. I also provide summary notes and mini-assessments to track progress and reinforce learning.

I hold a Master’s in Big Data Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (University Topper). With over 3 years of teaching experience, I have taught Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Maths to students from Year 7 to Year 12, both online and in-person. I also founded and ran my own private tuition centre, where I developed customised lesson plans and guided students toward significant academic improvement.

My lessons are ideal for students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, boost confidence, and achieve better results through consistent learning.
