About Claire

Our business partnership has a 25+ years experienced mathematics tutor and a knowledgeable science and math tutor. We value the individuality of each student and his or her learning methodologies. Our goal is to make learning an interesting experience, not an obligation.

I tutored for a long time. My mother was a math tutor and she taught me the importance of individualized education. Everyone learns differently and respecting that process is important to foster the love for learning.

We really try to understand the students, their needs, their current knowledge, and their capacity to grow. It is very important to us that we foster an atmosphere where students are encouraged to think of learning as a fun activity.

My personal process is getting to know the student, their needs and respecting their individual learning process.

Mainly high school students interested in math and science subjects.

Ask questions! The teacher can't anticipate your needs unless you communicate them. This is very important for everything in life. Also don't be afraid to be wrong, it is an important process for good learning.

I am starting a personal research project using machine learning to improve medical care and diagnosis.
