About Sithija

Hi everyone! I am Sithija Manage, an am doing PSAT/SAT and Math Tutoring again. My goal in life is to become a math professor, and I'm taking this as the first step towards it.

I have had the opportunity to teach some amazing kids in my neighborhood and hope to continue teaching online!

Nobody likes feeling left behind, especially in math class. In my opinon, it's the worst class to feel lost in because the subject builds on itself. I absolutely love being able to help students out of that feeling and let them grow confident in their ability to do math.

My dad is actually a math professor at Sam Houston State, and from the young age of 10, I knew I wanted to teach math as well.

About the lesson

This is a really great question. I usually take the first meeting to understand what the student really needs from me. Some students need a kind of mentor to help them through homework, and other students need more of a teacher to help reinforce lessons. I usually like to listen to what the student is struggling with and help them from there :)

I have worked with students from ages 10-18, and now that I have developed my skills even further I can teach some college material too!

This is another great question. I would honestly say to look for someone who seem to really care about their students. If you choose a tutor/teacher that is invested in your learning, the lessons are enjoyable and easy.
