About Raghav

The key to learning math is to enjoy doing it. I make math fun and simple to learn.

I love numbers and I love teaching - its a great combo.

I have always loved teaching. It used to be teaching friends and colleagues at college and work. Teaching gives me satisfaction. Seeing someone learn from me and learn it well and implement it is a great feeling.

I have a masters in engineering. Engineering involves a lot of math and a lot of numbers and calculations. Doing these over many years has given me a strong understanding of the subject. In addition, I have good GRE and GMAT scores from my past.

About the lesson

I first try to understand what the student wants to learn. Is it anything specific such as trignometry, or is it more of a general request to get better at overall number skills? It all depends on what the student is looking for. once that is determined, I try to suit my methods accordingly to cater to the student's needs.

Make sure you are comfortable with whoever you are looking to hire. And always make sure you have the liberty to ask questions without any fear. The more questions you ask, the better you learn. The teacher should give you this freedom.

And always remember - every student is different and everyone has a method of learning. A teacher should never tell you that this is the only way you should learn.
