About Alobeid

As i graduated in faculty of education ,section of teaching English with backelor degree plus postgraduate diploma in the same field, i can use my academic knowledge, skills and practice in my teaching.
As experienced teacher , i worked at British Council as a teacher and digital ambassodor, also worked at primary, elementary and secondary schools,
I was chosen to fulbright fellowship Teaching Excellence and Achievement in 2019 in USA.
My strategies to boost my students ' self-esteem and confidence in the classroom are : -
1- Be reslistic about what my studentd can accomplish.
2- Embrace a growth mindset,No student is perfect, so mistakes and errors are inevitable.
3- Do not compare one student to another.
4- Increase sense of ownership
5- Praise and acknowledge students accomplishments.
6- Not correct every single thing the student says wrong.
7- Set attainable goals.
In the side of my legitimacy as a teacher, i think a tutor has a college degree or some types of certification that shows they are quaified to teach, is not enough.
A teacher can not onty be produced through academic qualifications , is any one have a high college degree can teach effectively or be a good teacher? I know these are some demonds, but there are charateristics recognising the teachers.
The students want to have a tutor that can support them with thevsubject knowledge, guide them through the challenging topics, and ultimately help them achieve the goals that they can be proud of . But not only that . A tutor need to have skills to teach, need adaptability, openess, maturity, passion and more.

About the lesson

I reach out to the learners and connect with them . I am confident , punctual and worked hard to develop all the key skills that will make the learners to be successful . Not anly that, but also i am passionate about my subject. I am well-equiped to help the learners reach their goals. I make use of cross-curricular links.
Although maintaining professionalism at all times is, of course, vital, i communicate on a personal level with my students, so that they feel special, appreciated and above all understood.
From many years of practice, l have learned what works and what does not when handling challenging pupils, and l believe in positive interactions and positive praise to elicit the best performance from my learners.
I can diagnose the problems that are caused by interference between the mother tongue and English language, classify them and then solve them according to my knowlege of contrastive and errors analysis .
