About Sonisha
I'm Sonisha, a passionate Social Science teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools across India and Qatar. I believe every student can enjoy learning when concepts are explained in a simple, practical, and memorable way.
Students often tell me that I make Social Science one of their favorite subjects because I explain complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner using stories, real-life examples, maps, current events, and interactive discussions. I am an experienced CBSE Social Science teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in India and Qatar. I specialize in teaching History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and Qatar History to students from Grades 6 to 10. My goal is to make Social Science one of the most interesting and easy-to-understand subjects by connecting concepts to real-life examples and current events.
My teaching approach is interactive, student-centered, and focused on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I use maps, videos, presentations, discussions, quizzes, and exam-oriented practice questions to make every lesson engaging and effective. A typical class begins with a quick revision of previous concepts, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic using visual aids and practical examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and develop critical thinking skills. Each session concludes with revision, doubt clarification, and assessment to reinforce learning.
