About Brian
I bring nearly 40 years of playing and performance experience to my students, paired with a structured, patient instructional mindset. Whether you are an absolute beginner picking up an acoustic or electric for the first time, or an intermediate player wanting to understand how scales, chords, and music theory connect across the neck, I meet you at your current level. In addition to guitar, I teach bass fundamentals and practical music theory to give you a complete, well-rounded musical foundation.

Learning guitar should be fun, practical, and focused on making real music from day one. I specialize in teaching rock, blues, and foundational popular music to beginner and intermediate students of all ages. My approach breaks down complex fretboard concepts into clear, manageable physical habits—focusing on clean fret hand posture, pick control, rhythm timing, and practical fretboard navigation. We use the songs, riffs, and styles you actually love listening to, so you stay motivated and build genuine confidence every time you pick up the instrument.
