About Dritan
Hello,
:
My name is Dritan and I'm an experienced primary teacher living in Oldbury. I have taught for over 6 years across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, assessment and pedagogy. I'm a jack-of-all trades; exceptional at IT skills, teaching English, reading strategies, maths, science and special educational needs.
WHAT I CAN OFFER?
As an experienced practitioner, I will be able to identify your child's needs academically and emotionally. Then, I will create/gather high-quality resources and deliver sessions that show progress over time. Your child will not only learn key knowledge but practical strategies to fall back on when facing maths problems, comprehending a text, or spelling tricky words.
CURRENT EXPERIENCE:
I work as a teacher, SENDCo and curriculum leader at a small academy in Birmingham, whereby I oversee Science, Computing and special educational Needs provision. As I am based in Year 2, I also oversee the teaching and learning of early mathematics and literacy in KS1.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Academically, I graduated university in 2015 with a First Class BSc (Hons) Psychology and in 2016 with a Masters degree (Merit) in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies from Queen Mary, University of London. In 2017, I qualified as a primary teacher and earned my PGCE. In 2020, I qualified as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator and in 2022, I earned my National Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) in teaching.
