About Adam
Hey!
I’m Adam, an English teacher based in London. I have several years of experience, teaching a wide range of people from business executives to fashion designers.
I help students achieve their language goals through interesting and relaxed lessons. I want students to enjoy learning, without any of the stress that is found in many educational environments. So we’ll get to know each other, talk about interesting topics, and hopefully have a good time as you improve your language skills and grow in confidence.

Lessons with me are tailored to your needs. We can focus on speaking, pronunciation, reading, listening, grammar, anything at all. I encourage students to use English as much as possible, so expect to be active in the lessons. In addition to a lot of speaking work, we will improve your skills in other language areas using real-life English sources (articles, videos, etc.) that are based on your interests.
I aim to keep a relaxed learning environment, and lessons are not exam-focused; I want you to enjoy learning! Sessions can take place online or in person. Both are great options depending on your needs, though I would recommend in-person lessons for more complex topics, such as advanced pronunciation/accent work. In-person lessons can take place at your home or office, or in a public place such as a coffee shop. If you would like an intensive schedule, let me know and we can arrange that.
Our first session is free of charge and will last around 20-30 minutes. It is an opportunity for us to discuss your needs and see if we are the right fit for each other.
Rescheduling and missed lessons:
- You can reschedule a lesson free of charge if you let me know at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel a lesson, otherwise the lesson cannot be rescheduled and will be charged as normal.
- If you need to cancel a lesson due to illness or an emergency, we can reschedule the lesson free of charge.
- In the event that I miss a lesson or need to cancel, I will reschedule the lesson with you free of charge.
