About Emilia
Hello,
My name is Emilia Boone, and I have been tutoring for 2 years. I have had over 50 students, primarily in English, maths, and test taking skills, but I have experience and knowledge in many other areas including music (particularly the flute), dance, history, and French. I have no A-Level or GCSE scores to boast, as I did not attend school in the UK, but my 3.87 GPA in America is equivalent to a 2.1 degree at an English University. I have a Bachelor's degree in history and I am pursuing my masters in English, but I have a minor (almost like a half-degree) in music. I also have specialist experience working with students with disabilities, particularly ADD/ADHD and those on the autism spectrum. I genuinely enjoy tutoring and have years of practical experience, and despite the rate advertised (the rate recommended for me based on my experience) I am flexible with rate, so if you really need a tutor but can't afford as much I am more than happy to work with your child and work around financial need. I am always happy to help in any way that I can.
