About Kathleen

About Me
Hello! I am a proud mom turned tutor and a college graduate with a passion for helping children succeed. Raising kids has taught me that every child learns differently, and sometimes they just need a little extra patience and the right environment to thrive. I bring that same maternal care, combined with my educational background, to my tutoring sessions. I have extensive experience working with children and teens of all ages, adapting to their unique learning styles and needs.

About the lesson

What I Offer

Comprehensive Homework Help: Taking the evening stress off your family's plate by guiding your child through their daily assignments.

Additional Academic Support: Identifying areas where your child might be struggling and providing targeted practice to catch up or get ahead.

All Ages Welcome: Whether you have an elementary student learning the basics or a high schooler tackling complex projects, I can help.

A Supportive Environment: I focus on building confidence just as much as academic skills, creating a safe, positive space where kids feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My Approach
Learning shouldn't be intimidating. My goal is to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and independent understanding. Because I approach tutoring with a mother's empathy and a graduate's focus, I excel at turning frustration into "aha!" moments.

Let's Connect!
If your child could benefit from a patient, encouraging tutor who feels like an extension of your family's support system, I would love to help.

Please send me a message to discuss your child's specific needs and how we can work together to help them succeed!
