About Tasnym

I am a friendly and enthusiastic tutor that has professional experience teaching 11+ and GCSE’s, as I have worked in a local Ofsted registered tuition centre for 3 years. I achieved A* A A in my alevels, and would love to also help teach Maths, Biology and English literature a level.
I am currently studying Biomedical science at Oxford University, and have always enjoyed Maths and Biology throughout my time at school, frequently helping others around me when they struggled.

*Note my prices are for group tuition. See below for more information about 1-1 lessons, which start from £25/hour.

About the lesson

Before each (GCSE, 11+, A-levels) session I’ll ask for details on your exam board (especially relevant for 11+) and any topics you’re struggling with, to make the most out of our lessons.
Lessons are usually done on Google Meet, however we can also use Zoom or microsoft teams if you’d prefer.

Tasnym was a great help with my GCSE Maths. She explained things clearly, set a good amount of homework, and always took the time to go through my mistakes so I could really understand and improve. Her support made a big difference to my confidence and results, and I wouldn't have gone from a 5 to a 9 without her. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and effective tutor.

We had the pleasure of working with Tasnym to prepare Sofia for her 11+ exams, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, Tasnym was professional, supportive, and incredibly effective in her teaching approach.
Thanks to Tasnym’s guidance, our daughter went into the exams feeling well-prepared and much more self-assured.
