About Rachel
I have 41 years of teaching experience and hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Mathematics. Throughout my teaching career, I have mentored students from secondary education through postgraduate studies, helping learners build strong mathematical foundations through supportive instruction, practical understanding, and individualized guidance. Helping students discover confidence in mathematics continues to inspire my lifelong commitment to education.
One learner initially struggled with numerical approximation methods because understanding accuracy, estimation, and computational procedures seemed overwhelming. Through structured demonstrations, interactive software activities, and carefully guided practice, the student gradually mastered numerical techniques and successfully applied them to complex mathematical problems. This achievement significantly improved academic performance and strengthened confidence in higher-level mathematics.
