About Paulson

I am a seasoned guitarist, driven by a deep passion for music and a profound desire to share my expertise with aspiring musicians. With 6 years of live performance experience and 3 years as a local guitar teacher, I have honed my skills and developed a comprehensive understanding of the instrument.

My journey as a guitarist has been marked by dedication and a commitment to continuous learning. I hold a degree in BMM Animation and have achieved Level 5 certification from Trinity School of Music's Live Band Exam, showcasing my dedication to mastering my craft.

I aspire to teach because I believe in the transformative power of music education. It's not just about learning chords and scales; it's about unlocking creativity, building confidence, and fostering a lifelong love for music. My goal is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students of all ages, from absolute beginners to intermediates, helping them realize their musical dreams.

By choosing me as your guitar teacher, you're not only gaining access to a wealth of experience but also someone who is genuinely committed to your musical growth. I am here to guide, inspire, and empower you on your musical journey, offering confidence, reassurance, and legitimacy in your pursuit of becoming a skilled guitarist. Together, we'll create beautiful music and unlock the incredible potential within you.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centred and practical-focused. I begin by understanding each student's individual needs and aspirations. Classes are designed to be 90% practical, fostering an immersive and hands-on learning experience.

Each lesson typically lasts for 1 hour, allowing ample time for skill development and practice. With 3 years of experience as a local guitar teacher and a Level 5 certification from Trinity School of Music, I bring a wealth of knowledge to each session.

My lessons are tailored for students aged 10-18, welcoming absolute beginners to those at an intermediate level. Regardless of where you start, together, we'll unlock your guitar-playing potential.
