About Sakshi
I am a corporate lawyer at an international law firm with a strong academic background in humanities and law, and a particular interest in English, Politics, History, Philosophy, Civics and General Studies.
My professional work involves analysing complex legal and policy issues, constructing persuasive arguments and working with structured written material every day — skills that translate directly into helping students succeed in essay-based subjects. I specialise in supporting students who want to improve their critical thinking, essay writing, exam technique and confidence with challenging topics. Humanities subjects are not just about memorising facts; they are about learning how to interpret ideas, evaluate arguments and present clear, structured responses. I help students develop these skills in a practical and accessible way.
I work with GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate students, including those preparing for exams, coursework submissions or university-level writing expectations. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding, structured argumentation and exam confidence. As a corporate lawyer at an international law firm, I work daily with complex political, legal and analytical material, which allows me to help students develop clear thinking, persuasive writing and high-quality exam techniques. Lessons are tailored to each student’s syllabus, strengths and goals.
I typically combine discussion-based learning with structured guidance on essay writing, argument building, source analysis and revision strategy. Students learn how to engage critically with topics rather than memorise content, which is especially important for Politics, History, Philosophy and General Studies.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or coursework support. Lessons usually include concept clarification, exam-style practice and feedback to improve structure, clarity and confidence. I have experience supporting GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate students, particularly those aiming to improve essay performance, analytical skills and exam technique.
