About Bisset

Hi! I am an Industrial Engineer and PhD researcher with a passion for problem-solving, continuous learning and helping others succeed.

My background combines practical industry experience with advanced academic research in engineering, optimisation and machine learning. This allows me to explain complex concepts in a way that is both easy to understand and relevant to real-world applications.

I understand that technical subjects can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an exam or looking to strengthen your technical skills or you need help to write an article, I am here to help you build confidence and achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson

As an Industrial Engineer and PhD researcher, I enjoy helping students understand complex concepts in a simple, practical way. With experience in both industry and academic research, I bring real-world examples into my lessons to make learning more relevant and engaging.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to your needs, pace and goals. My approach is friendly, patient and interactive, focusing on building your confidence and helping you understand the reasoning behind each solution.

I offer online tutoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Optimisation, Machine Learning and Industrial Engineering, primarily for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Lessons are available in both English and Afrikaans.
