About Ikhlas
I'm Ikhlas — a CS graduate from IBA Karachi — and I know exactly what it's like to be on your side of the screen.
I've been that student. Searching through tutor after tutor, sitting through trial lessons, and eventually just giving up and settling for whoever the school or college assigned — whether they were a good fit or not. It's frustrating, it wastes time, and honestly it can knock your confidence in a subject that maybe just needed the right explanation.
That experience is exactly why I want to teach. I want to be the tutor I wish I'd found — someone who actually explains the why, adjusts to how you learn, and doesn't make you feel behind for not getting it the first time.
Maths isn't about being "a maths person." It's about having someone break it down the right way for you. That's what I'm here to do.

Hi, I'm Ikhlas — a Computer Science graduate from IBA Karachi (Dean's List, GPA 3.58) with a strong academic background in mathematics and a passion for making it click for students who find it tough.
Who this is for
My sessions are designed for O-Level and A-Level students looking to build real understanding — not just memorize formulas and pass exams.
How I teach
I take a concept-first approach. Before touching any problem, I make sure the student genuinely understands the why behind the topic. Once the foundation is solid, we move into applying it — working through problems progressively from straightforward to exam-level difficulty. Every session is tailored to where the student currently is, not a one-size-fits-all script.
Typical lesson
Each session runs for 1 hour online. We spend time on explanation, worked examples, and then the student attempts problems with my guidance — so there's always active practice, not just passive listening.
Experience & background
As a Teaching Assistant for Data Structures and Algorithms at IBA, I've developed strong skills in breaking down complex material into digestible steps — the same skill that makes maths tutoring effective.
