As a chemistry tutor, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, ensuring that students build a strong foundation before tackling more challenging topics. My approach is highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically. I use real-world examples to make abstract chemistry concepts more relatable, and I incorporate visual aids like diagrams and interactive problem-solving.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover theory, work through practice questions, and review any areas of difficulty. For more intensive study sessions, I offer 90-minute lessons, especially during exam periods.
I hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a current secondary school chemistry teache. My lessons are tailored to students studying GCSE, typically ages 13-16, but I am also experienced in working with adult learners preparing for exams.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to improve their understanding and achieve their academic goals.
