About Regis
I love helping students of all ages improve their communication skills and have done so as a writing centre tutor, faculty assistant, academic editor, and private tutor. I have a bachelor’s degree in the humanities and have studied English literature at the graduate level. I currently tutor students ranging in age from three years to adult.

Because I have a passion for the written word, I love to get students reading as well as talking and writing about exciting literature! Depending on the age, skill level, goals, and needs of the student, I use a mixture of novel studies, worksheets, writing assignments, and games to help students grow in their various communication skills. In addition to reading comprehension, I focus a lot on grammar and spelling to help my students become the best communicators they can be.
I am a patient and persistent tutor. I care about each of my students and want to do all I can to help them succeed. I currently enjoy working with students of all ages from preschool to master’s students, so I’m up to the challenge of developing a tutoring program for any student seeking help with English.
