About Jennifer
I have taught in the Boston Public School system for twenty-one years and currently teach ninth and tenth grades at Boston Latin Academy. I received a BA in English from The College of the Holy Cross, a Master's in English Education (7-12) from New York University and a Master's in Language and Literacy with Licensure as a Reading Specialist (K-12) from Harvard University. I have licenses in English 8-12, English as a Second Language 5-12 and Reading Specialist K-12.

My name is Jennifer and I am an experienced English/ESL teacher and a licensed reading specialist seeking to provide tutoring. If you or your child is struggling with reading, writing, comprehension or organizational issues, I can help with my personalized, flexible tutoring delivered virtually. As a long-time classroom teacher, I am adept at helping children strengthen and advance their learning. Based on your child’s needs, I can design a tutoring program that utilizes best practices for skill retention, review, and organization. In each session, I will help bolster your child’s academic performance and overall confidence. I am also available for consultation, skills assessment, and homework support.
