About Tina
I am a London-based filmmaker, producer and SEN teaching assistant with a genuine passion for education and creative mentorship. I run my own independent production company, LunaLens Productions, with completed short films currently screening at international film festivals - meaning I bring real, current industry experience to every session.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and a Level 2 safeguarding qualification, and have hands-on experience supporting students with additional needs in school settings. I am patient, adaptable and committed to meeting each student where they are.
My background means I am not just teaching from a textbook - I understand how the creative industries actually work, and I love helping students connect their studies to the real world. Whether a student is struggling with essay structure, working through a media coursework brief, or developing their own creative voice, I bring both professional expertise and genuine enthusiasm to every lesson.

My lessons are relaxed, practical and tailored to each student. As a working filmmaker and producer with real festival credits, I bring media and film to life beyond the textbook - connecting theory directly to how the industry actually works.
Sessions are typically one hour and structured around the student's specific needs: whether that's unpacking a coursework brief, improving essay technique, analysing film language, or building confidence in English and creative writing.
I work with GCSE and A-level students across Media Studies, Film Studies, English Literature and Creative Writing, adapting my approach to each individual's learning style. My SEN teaching assistant experience means I'm especially good at breaking complex ideas down and making them feel genuinely accessible.
Lessons are available online via video call or in person in North/East London. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and a Level 2 safeguarding qualification.
