About Rhiannon
I have been working in a multilingual school for several years supporting students learning English as a Second language. They arrive as kindergarten students with almost no English, their first language being Pennsylvania Dutch. We work together through one on one phonics and reading work, making word chains and learning word families. I also spend time on a daily basis working with non-verbal students, encouraging their speech and sounds.

My lessons will be geared towards Primary age students needing more phonemic awareness.
Starting with Letter sounds and then growing the awareness through learning CVC words. We will start with vowels and slowly move onto consonants. Learn word families and patterns. Finally moving onto Digraphs.
