About Yi G
With over 10 years of experience teaching Biology at Cal Poly Pomona and tutoring in the areas of Chemistry, I have developed a strong foundation in the sciences. My passion for learning and sharing knowledge has driven me to help students understand challenging material in Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, and Molecular Bio. I am detail-oriented, patient, and adept at explaining concepts in multiple ways to ensure comprehension. In teaching chemistry, I focus on being detail-oriented, patient, and adaptable in my explanations. I strive to present complex topics in multiple ways to cater to different learning styles and help students grasp the material more effectively. Assigning homework and practice problems reinforces understanding and application of the material covered in our sessions.
