About Mehak
I have taught class sizes of 45 students with a total of 180 students in all my classes. I made class fun and engaging and made sure all my students were learning. Classes were interactive. Concepts were broken into bite-sized information. I understand biology can be boring sometimes but I can make it fun. It doesn’t have to be boring or draining.

I am a passionate biology educator and healthcare professional dedicated to bridging the gap between textbook science and real-world clinical application. My scientific foundation began with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and early career experience working in a microbiology laboratory. Looking to make a more direct impact on students, I spent two years as a high school biology teacher before discovering my true calling in health care. Over the past nine years, I have supported diverse student populations as a substitute teacher for five years, a high school biology teacher for two years, and a college biology supplemental instructor for two years. In my classroom, I bring lessons to life by pulling directly from my real-world lab and healthcare experiences.
