About Miranda
I grew up learning anything and everything artistic. This included dance, drawing, painting, singing, and more. I was introduced to realism and figure drawing at age 15, I started off by drawing my own hand with a regular #2 pencil. One year later, I was then introduced to charcoal, and simply kept drawing and building my skills, learning from a wonderful teacher.

My sessions move at the student's pace. I start students off with drawing hands for the first session. Hands, to many artists, are one of the most difficult figures to draw. A typical tutoring session would consist of helping the student to find a black and white image which contains a person. The student then will be observed as they draw that image and given feedback and suggestions actively. There is no pressure to finish a drawing within one session. Many pieces of art take multiple weeks to finish.
