About Laila

Hello, I am Ms. Laila. I am a reading interventionist, meaning I help people with learning difficulties who have challenges learning to read and decode English overcome those challenges and become fluent readers.

In addition, I have been teaching Arabic as a second language to professionals who want to learn a specific dialect. I offer classes to learn Arabic as a second language in a fun and easy way. I customize my sessions based on the student’s goals. The student will be able to speak the dialect, and if they choose to learn to read and write, they can do so easily because of my profession. They can also learn about the culture. I am familiar with all the different Arabic dialects.

About the lesson

For reading therapy sessions, I give an assessment for free and I send a full report and recommendations regarding the assessment results. When I start working with the student, I provide the workbooks needed and I give out "Tokens Of Appreciation" after every session to keep encouraging the hardwork. I give another assessment during therapy sessions to determine the progress and to see where we are standing at. The student family will get a periodic report to be involved in the learning process. Towards the end, I give a gift card along with a final assessment report. I use other reading programs and different resources to make sure the the learning journey is enjoyable for the students. I've been working with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, Autism students for many years and I'm trained to handle their learning differences.
