About Alex
I am a 21 year old trans woman, I taught myself to play guitar when I was 13 years old in seventh grade and I had played bass for five years prior to that. I’ve always loved music, guitar especially has always been an amazing tool for self expression for me and I take great joy in sharing this tool with others. I’ve played on various stages and on various city streets, I know how to draw a crowd and I can teach you how to play guitar and get comfortable enough to make yourself money on the street if that’s what you’re interested in.

I am a knowledgeable, patient, kind guitar teacher with experience performing, playing on the street, and I taught myself from scratch so I understand the difficulties of learning guitar. I will teach you to shred like you never believed you could! My main influences include Polyphia, Megadeth, and NOFX. My favorite genres to teach and play are metal, punk, prog rock, and blues, if you enjoy these styles and want a very patient teacher, we will get along great!
