About Reuben
As an experienced tutor, I’m passionate about my subjects and patient with the challenges students may face. I create custom designed sessions with a focus on active and discursive learning paired with personal notes for you. You will also be provided with essay writing prompts and tips, as well as practice-questions set and marked each session. I hold 9A*'s at GCSE including grade 9's in: - History - English Literature - Biology - Geography - Chemistry - Classical Civilisation Beyond this I am predicted A*A*A at A-Level with scores above 90% in History and Politics in mocks. Typical lessons last for 60 minutes (though I am flexible on the length of session that is preferred by each pupil). I have experience teaching and tutoring a range of ages including both A-level and GCSE, as well as some experience teaching Neurodivergent pupils. My tutoring experience centres on Politics, History and Classical Civilisation A-Levels, although I have also got experience tutoring GCSE level and below for English as well as Biology and Chemistry.
